As you drive from Fethiye up the mountain to the charming village of Hisaronu, not only do you take in the beautiful scenery but on a hot summers day you can notice a welcoming difference in temperature as you climb.

Hisaronu is a recently established resort and although it has grown in the last few years, it still retains a friendly and vibrant atmosphere.It is an ideal place for walkers as there are plenty of winding paths through the forests with wonderful views and of course a visit to Kayakoy (the ghost village), where the Greeks once lived is a must.

Ephesus, Pammukale, Dalyan and day trips to the Island of Rhodes.The night life in Hisaronu can be as lively or as quiet as you wish to make it, with plenty of bars and clubs. A must for shoppers is the weekly market in Fethiye, where you will find the best bargains. It is the biggest Bazaar in the area.Fethiye itself is worth a visit to take in the history and culture of the area or to have a romantic walk round the harbour.
